2016 National Farm Safety and Health Week: The Underground

Call or click before you dig! Last fall, father and son John and Rick Proulx were clearing up some trees on on their farm land in northwestern Minnesota. John had pushed one tree over and was trying to scoop some dirt out with the back hoe, when he said “it felt like I hit a rock.” Watch this video from John Deere for the whole story.

The 2016 National Farm Safety and Health Week has been going on since Sept. 18, and this year’s theme is Farm Safety: A Legacy to be Proud of. Friday’s focus is underground utilities.
