Reindeer farm? Domino’s is looking for delivery drivers
If you have an elk or deer ranch already, you might want to consider adding a reindeer farm to the mix … Domino’s Japan is looking for reindeer to guide pizza to their customers this season.
The pizza chain plans to use the herd when the winter weather gets rough and regular delivery drivers can’t get through snow-packed streets. The training is completed with the Research Center of Hokkaido to make sure the weight of the pizzas and distance is safe for each animal. Each reindeer is equipped with a GPS tracker so employees can monitor its progress.
The new delivery system is supposed to start Dec. 1, but it looks like employees have some work to do yet before rolling out the red light.
