It’s breeding season at the ranch; the time of year that taught our kids all about the finer points of reproduction ????…..proven by the following: when I was pregnant with Jacy, I decided to take Jess and Jo to one of my dr. appts. so they could hear the heartbeat. As we were headed into town in my ugly green Ford Escort, Jess was trying to get my attention from the back seat. She must have said “mom” a few times because by the time I finally acknowledged her she was speaking in her signature emphatic tone!! As I directed my attention to her through the rear view mirror she said, “MOM…..READ……. MY……LIPS (she listened to Pres. Bush a lot ?) WHEN EXACTLY DID DAD BREED YOU?”……I’m so glad she spent hours with her daddy watching the bulls do their thang!!??‍♀️??‍♀️?.
