This handsome cockerel (young rooster) is a cross between my @greenfirefarms Cream Legbar rooster and a rebel bantam mix hen who liked to escape and hang with the big boys. Interestingly enough, the chicks all are colored like they are cream legbars… And what does that mean? It means they were auto sexing also!! With auto sexed chicks, you can distinguish males vs females based on feather color at hatching. How cool is that?! I'm hoping that the hens will also lay colored eggs just like cream legbars do. Farm science fun!!
