Did you guys know we mix and grind all our own pig feed? It’s important to us that our pigs eat great quality feed that doesn’t have ingredients that we can’t pronounce. Great quality feed makes delicious meat. It takes extra time and has taken a lot of research to nail down the perfect combinations and ratios. Our natural feed is given to our breeder hogs, feeder pigs, wiener pigs and the kids fair pigs each requiring different ratios. . . We’ve been asked if we pelletize our feed or have the option. After extensive research we’ve found that pigs actually grow better on ground up feed. . . . We also sell feed for fair hogs by the ton for $350. We can customize the protein ratio depending on what stage your fair hog is in. Let us know if you’ve got any questions. #makinbaconranch

K U D O S T O T H E C U T E L I L S T I N K E R S ________________________________________________ It’s Thursday, which means extra thankfulness is in order! It also happens to be Valentine’s Day, which means extra love is in the air. (Caution: soft post ahead) ❤️ When you first fell in love as a youngin, did you have that happy-go-lucky, stupid giddy feeling? Yeah, me too. Watching baby calves (like this one with an oh so sweet face) run and play gives me the same warm & fuzzy feeling. ☺️ After a long day on the farm during calving season, one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things is standing on the fence and soaking in the joy that comes with new life. It’s simply peaceful, but if you stop and smell the roses, it’s one amazing act of God. 🙏🏼
