Hello, my name is Shania DeJarnett, I am currently serving Hughson FFA as chapter president and Tri- Rivers Section as reporter. Whether we are fighting for our water rights in the state of California, educating the future generations through social media and agriculture education days, and learning about the new challenges — from feeding an expanding global population, while meeting strict new emissions requirements, to producing more food on fewer acres. My life depends on all aspects of agriculture. I hope to change the many misconceptions by AGvocating my passion for the industry so that my kids will get to experience agriculture in the same ways I have. After high school, I will be attending Oklahoma State University or Fresno State University in the fall of 2017 to double major in Agriculture Communications and Farm & Ranch Management.
