Haven't seen snow ridges up to the bag roller in awhile! Another one cleaned up, slowly but surely getting through them! At least we didn't feel like we were ice road truckers like last week. Yes, grain farmers do actually work outside when it's cold. If it's -25 or 30 (or colder!) for this long, jobs still have to get done! Trucks have been on the road fairly steady the past few weeks between moving bags, cleaning seed and hauling to the elevator. That means tractors, augers, conveyers, trucks are all givnr and we've had some pretty touch and go starts in the cold! Still thinking of all our livestock friends that are calving cows and bedding in this weather! Hope it warms up soon! #farmlife #winterjobs #agmorethanever #agdaily #coldaf
