We’ve been taking turns managing the snow and ice here on the farm for hours. It feels like never ending shoveling and doing all we can to keep the animals taken care of. We had to make room in the house to bring in the farm dogs and cats, and have shoveled pathways for the chickens and ducks to walk through. Taking a breather before going down to check on the horses and sheep. It’s fun living it through the kids eyes, Goldie let us know that her contribution was keeping this one egg warm in her mittens. ??? This bitter cold also brings a humble & grateful heart for the roof over our head, warm clothing, and stocked cupboards!
