Own It – Gordon on his mule while branding last spring. . It’s not something that we’re used to seeing. It takes a second to register and then you say, oh nice! That’s exactly what you want in your images too…duende. Own your style of this craft we call photography. . Do we have to learn, yes! Just like roping or riding. I promise you this, if you stick with it and you challenge yourself, you’ll own it! One last thing – saying “everyone is a photographer” is an excuse, but when you say, I am a photographer, and you believe that, you’ll own it. . ?ISO200, f4, 1/1000s @ 200mm ?Canon 5D4 Lens – 70-20mm f2.8L IS v2 #ranch #ranchlife #ranching #western #americanwest #westernphotography #westernhorseman #workingranchmagazine #americancowboy #utah #utahphotographer #mule #muleskinner #cowboy #ownit #cowboyhat #photography #brandingday #canon #canonusa #teamcanon #canonbringit #n40life #photography101 #roping #roper #agdaily

Paging @case_ih this is something you'll want to see! I went out last night to watch the neighbors combine some safflower and we had the pleasure of yet another beautiful Montana sunset. Well, the combine operator had to turn the lights on as it was getting darker, I got him in just the right place at the right time to set me up for this perfect picture. The fact this is how everything fell together blows me away, as I doubt I could ever recreate this image by posing it all. I'm most proud of this image, out of everything I've done. . . . . . . #agdaily #farming #farmingphotography #agricultureproud #agriculturephotography #ag365 #montanafarming #easternmontana #caseIH #combining #bigredcombine #safflower #safflowerharvest #amaturephotogrephy #stunnersoninsta #nikonphotography

Big Thanks to Bryan Reed for letting me tag along earlier this evening as he worked to make sure his cattle were comfortable and safe while temperatures dipped below zero. Reed made sure there was ample bedding, feed, and water available for his livestock. Enough feed to get them through the next couple of days in case tractors and other farm equipment failed. He spent a long day impacted by the elements making sure the necessities were covered. Farmers, first responders, electrical lineman, railroad workers, and many others will work through the dangerous conditions until the job is done. That is important! . . . . . .#farm365#agchat#farmtog#farm#thisisIowa#exploreIowa#ia_ag#food#agchat#iowafarmer#iowafarming#IG_IOWA#myfarmphoto#agdaily#jmurphpix#farmlife#farmphotography#ag#highlightiowa#iowagram#farmlife#IAag#IowaAg#iowafarmer#onlyinIowa#renegade_community#farmtog#Iowaviews#iowagram#Iowaofusa#nocoastcollective#Captureiowa#jmurphpix#iowafarmer#loadedlenses#journal#IASoybeans#nocoastcollective
