“One thing at a time.” This is what I chose to focus on for mental health awareness day today- and if you read this please do one thing today and that’s jump over to @bell_letstalk and watch their official video as they are donating 5c towards mental health initiatives for every view. I’ve been reading and hearing people talk about mental health awareness today, and I know I’ve sure felt stressed lately. Feeling like I have a million things to do and not enough time. and I reminded myself for my own sanity to just be present and (try) to focus on one thing at a time. Today I chose to spend some time just watching the kids play. They were building a “fort” and the goats kept eating the sticks they were using as the posts. (It was quite funny actually- some more of it is in my stories). They could have played for hours! This is a huge reason why we chose to move here and do what we are doing. Moving away from our close friends and family and a steady paycheck for both of us, certainly hasn’t been easy. But living on this farm, working outside, on this land everyday, and raising our kids in this lifestyle is our dream come true. We just need the reminder to pace ourselves and focus on one thing at a time. And right now that’s pruning blueberries… ?. And we’re on the last field actually so feeling pretty good about that! . . . #mentalhealth #bellLetsTalk #letthembewild #farmkids #farmlife #familyfarming #familiesthatfarm #farmHer #yellowpointfarms #goats #goatsandkids #nigeriandwarf #selfsustainable #farm #iamcountryside #be_one_rural #pocket_farms #country_features #wellnesswednesday
