Days like today remind me why I farm. Our family all worked together to get the rest of the hay in the barn and Deyton was so excited about helping! Then I got to teach Deyton all about the miracle of life when Ethyl went into labor and delivered a large single buckling (I had to pull it which scared all of us a little) and then just two hours later we helped EB deliver triplets! When I woke up this morning I had no idea we would be delivering goat kids. We had lots of other plans for the day but that's farm life for you and I wouldn't change it for the world.
