New @iafilms work now out. Our docu-series “The American Farmer” presented by AgAmerica continues with the newest episode: “Richard Hudson: An American Farmer”. Farming is more than a job, it’s a way of life and it’s a full-time commitment. No one understands this better than Richard Hudson, a humble third-generation Georgia farmer who oversees his family’s farm operation and serves as the primary caregiver for both his father and brother. Although he’s seen his share of volatile farm seasons, Richard remains focused on growing the operation to sustain his family for years to come. -AgAmerica Lending Watch his full story: #TheAmericanFarmer #AgAmerica

If barns could talk… 🤍 . . . I was just thinking this weekend how many people, how many animals, and how much weather this one has seen over the last 100 years that it’s been here. And those rafters! 😍 . . I had a friend ask if we would fix it up. Maybe? It could use a little clean up on the inside, and we might could add to it to patch up where needed. But I just couldn’t bear to watch too much of it be replaced, much less torn apart. . . Some may not see any beauty in it at all, but I just can’t get over how well it’s held up after all this time! How do y’all feel about your old barns? Anyone else have one that’s really old? Have you fixed it up or changed it at all?

Did you know that chickens are the closest living relative to a T-Rex? Seriously. If you don’t believe me, just try to hold a freshly hatched baby chick while it’s momma hen is paying attention 😱😱 . . . . . . . . . . #chooks #backyardflocks #flockgoals #freerangechickens #backyardchooks #chickenaddict #egglayers #ilovechickens #henstagram #raisingchickens #chickenlove #homesteadlife #happyhens #farmfresheggs #flockboss #chickensaspets #backyardpoultry #hensofinstagram #backyardpoultrymag #backyardflock #farmphotography #chickenenvy#homesteadersofinstagram #henfever #coopedup #crazychickenlady #chickensofig #backyardpoultry #modernfarmer #mojohomesteadfl #happyhomesteading

“Lord, bless the land You’ve given me. ⁣ and may I always know, ⁣ as I tend each crop and creature, ⁣ You’re the One who helps them grow. ⁣ ⁣ Grant me the strength and wisdom ⁣ please protect me from harm,⁣ and thank You ⁣ for Your gracious gift-⁣ ⁣ The blessing of a farm.” ⁣ Farmer’s Prayer-Kobin Fogle⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Not every day on a farm is picture-perfect. Each season presents new challenges. This one is no different. We’re finally done replanting the fields that drowned out. It’s not easy to go and patch in fields. ⁣ ⁣ I have to remember, God, blessed us with this life. He blessed us with this land. We pray to have the wisdom to make the right decisions, especially the input decisions this time of year. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣📸 @christopher_dowell ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #plantingseason #farmlife #farmfamily #keepthefaith #farm #farmer #tractor #farmscene #farmphotography #farmfamily #farmlifebestlife #grow2020 #keeperfarmin #farmandranchlife #agnowmorethanever #agriculture #aglife #cropfarmer
