? ? ? It’s harvest. I have always loved the fall! It takes on a new feeling and meaning being married to the farmer instead of the farmer being my dad. It’s a demanding season because not only do we have corn to pick- we also have lots of bawling freshly weaned calves around the feedlot and fat cattle getting close to ready to ship. It’s also a rewarding season to see everything come together and it’s a battle with your mind to find joy in the bustle and the weight of it. Right now joy wins.
