Calves are in one big group, day olds to five months. The littlest ones don't understand the fence as well as the older ones. Sometimes they slide under the fence and hide in the tall grass. Our newest baby girl went out yesterday for the first time. And she hid in the tall grass. It took a half-hour and a four and seven year old to find her. ?? My seven year old thought it would be impossible and that maybe we should stop looking. We discussed the importance of taking care of our animals because they depend on us for care and love. He was so proud when they found her. Sometimes it's the littlest wins that seem the biggest. #thisismaplehill #grassfed #grassfedmilk #organic #organicdairy #calves #chores #thesimplethings #farmkids #lovemyboys
