I wasn’t “raised in barn” but these girls sure were! And as long as we can we will keep it that way! @dairydad posted today what it was like being “raised in a barn” and all of the great memories and life lessons that come along with farm life and I am SO thankful and grateful that we get to raise our girls in this environment. We are a family farm through and through and pray that we can hang on long enough for our girls to hopefully take over one day. They love the farm and they love this life even at 4 and 6 years old! Our 6 year old can tell you when the feed needs to be changed by looking at cow poop with her daddy. Our 4 yr old can tell you all about an assisted calving from start to finish. **I get some funny looks from people when that happens ? So I may not have the memories of being “raised in a barn” but I’m making them now through watching my girls make theirs!
