Dear cattle industry groups, lobbyists, politicians, and packers, Please stop destroying the beef industry. The last month has proven, without a shadow of a doubt, that cattle producers have been kept in the dark for far too long concerning how and where our Federal Check Off dollars and donated funds have been spent. I am appalled at not only the NCBA, but also to learn that so many other lobby groups both accept money from, and partner with, the HSUS and the World Wildlife Federation and other activist groups whose main goal is to see animal agriculture become nonexistent. And you have the gall to stand up in your fancy suits and point fingers at cattle ranchers when we question your ethics. To the packing plants that are giant conglomerates owned by non-American corporations-well played! You've managed to screw over thousands of producers, feed lot owners, and families in your quest for fortune. To know that you are also in bed with anti-beef ( anti- livestock, really) "fake meat" creators shows how much better you think you are than those of us out here in the trenches. I'm afraid to imagine what else you are spending money on in order to cut ranchers out of the picture. To the politicians, you've proven time and time again that you are no where to be found until the wallets open up. Thanks for being the voice of the people. You're doing a real bang- up job. It is embarrassing to watch the unraveling of an industry happen right before our eyes. The name calling, the mud slinging, the blame game- what is the damn point? The last month has been an eye opener for my generation of cattle producers. I believe you better wake up- because we are going to rewrite the next chapter of the beef industry. Our parents may have let you get away with highway robbery, but we will not. We work hard to keep food on the table for our families, and to pay the bills. We bust our asses every day, not to pay for your dinner parties and pretty marketing schemes, but because this is our livelihood. It's time you start working for the people providing the products that pay for your wardrobe. Sincerely, Richelle Barrett Cattle Rancher, Ranch Wife, Mother, Agvocate

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. || 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 • • Watermark: KNZ Design & Marketing • • #country_living #countrylifestyle #rural_living #rural #photography #animals #countrylivin #farmhousestyle #countrystylemag #countrystyle #farmhouseliving #livestock #cow #bull #angus #cattle #heifer #calf #steer #nebraska #thegoodlife #agriculture #agriculturephotography #nebraska #visitnebraska #NEphotonetwork #livestock #livestockphotography #midwest #countrylife #agdaily #beef
