If you have a social media page that promotes agriculture, please tag it below. We want to shine a light on accounts that agvocate, because they are so so important! I encourage everyone to scroll through the comments and follow some of these amazing pages, we will be doing the same 🙂 ° I am writing this post as a way to thank every social media account out there Agvocating for agriculture. We are all in this together, even though it doesn’t always feel like it. You are making a difference. The more people we have telling their farm story, the bigger impact we have on how consumers see us farmers. ° It can be really hard to not compare yourself to other accounts on Instagram. We used to do it all of the time, and occasionally still do. What’s worked the best for us is to just do our own thing. Not everyone loves how we do things, and that’s okay. There is an unfollow button for a reason. This account is 6 years in the making. Our love for agvocating has grown so much over those years. We will continue being our raw, crazy selfs, never trying to fit a mold. I hope you do the same. ° We have noticed it’s easy to feel left out of the farming community on social media. It’s discouraging to feel not included. Whether you have 10 followers or 10,000 you are doing YOUR PART. Your opportunities will come along. Please, don’t give up. Please keep telling your story. We need you.

Go on and ask! I can tell you how 90% of Wisconsin milk is made into over 600 varieties of cheese or how the dairy industry generates $45.6 billion to our states economy. I could sadly tell you Wisconsin is home to just over 7,000 farms and that has been steadily declining. BUT I can also tell you how well we take care of our girls and take pride in producing such a versatile, safe, and nutritious product. – So go ahead, ask me about Wisconsin Dairy! – #wisconsindairy #realwidairy #wisconsin #farmer #local #undeniablydairy #dairygood #workingmom #southwestwisconsin #discoverwisconsin #wisconsinlife #midwest #farmlife #familyfarm #askme #askmehow #questions #farm365 #americasdairyland

One week until Earth Day ❤️?❤️ To celebrate, I want to start a week long series leading up to Earth Day sharing some of my favorite facts about sustainability and dairy farming. For me, I believe sustainability is about collaboration and reducing waste. One man's trash is another man's treasure! And dairy farmers along with the power of cows do an amazing job at reducing waste. If you have been following my page for a while, you have probably heard me say that sustainability does NOT have to big, expensive, world changing projects. I believe that small changes and management practices across many farms can have a huge impact! So stay tuned this week to find out some amazing ways dairy farmers are committed to protecting our planet while feeding our communities!!
