Happy Monday from my little barn babes! Vulnerable post ahead >>>I’m launching a blog this week. There I said it, so there’s no going back now! ? Most people would say that with excitement, but if I’m being completely honest I’m scared to death to be vulnerable and raw in sharing my heart. But I’ve felt led to do this for so long, and I’m finally going to take the plunge! Jesus take the wheel!! ? I want it to be an outlet to connect with others in sharing honestly and openly about the struggles and joys of motherhood, adapting to life as a farm wife, my faith that has sustained me through all the ups and downs, and everything else in between! I would love for you to follow along as I share a little of my unfiltered life outside of Instagram. My vision in this all is to bring hope, encouragement, and maybe a few laughs (at my kids expense ?) along the way as I share whatever Christ lays on my heart. ❤️

View out the pickup window leaving our Aunt and Uncle’s ranch this weekend. ⁣ ⁣ Realized I’ve become quite enamored with cows over the last few years living here. They are a mixed bag of serene and raging, graceful and goofy, curious and apathetic, imposing and meek. I love watching them roam the pastures, hides shining in the warm sunshine. I love listening to them chew, a sound that floats in calming rhythm over the quiet country air. I even love the way they smell — a grassy, poopy musk that has become surprisingly endearing. ⁣ ⁣ To know them is to love them…and be infuriated with them…and worry yourself sick over them…⁣ ⁣ As Corb Lund put it:⁣ “C'mon you know that you got too much time on your hands⁣ Not merely enough complication in your plans⁣ You need to invite all the frustration that you can⁣ May you always have cows around”⁣ ❤️ @corblund
