To some, this is just an open gate. To others, (our cows) this is an opportunity to explore the yard 😂 . On my way to a friend’s house tonight, I noticed that dad had left the pasture gate open and a couple of our cows were out taking a tour of the yard. I pulled up, put them back in the pasture, and closed the gate. . I don’t know how many times in my life I’ve done this…dozens, no doubt. But for some reason, this time I thought about it a little differently. . How many times do we have gates open in front of us, and never have the guts to walk through them? Or even worse, how often do we have gates open that we don’t even know are open in the first place? . To me, social media is an open gate for the agriculture industry. It’s an opportunity to connect with consumers and tell OUR story of what we do as farmers and agriculturalists. . What did you do today do tell your story to consumers? #TheFarmStory
