She is the secretary, the maid, the cook, the nurse. She answers phones and answers to her bosses and answers a thousand questions from her kids. Through it all, she carries on. She tries to be gracious and upbeat when her husband calls to change her plans for the eighth time this week, even when it is only Tuesday night. She awakes from her slumber at the sound of a sick or crying child, and rocks until she and the babe are fast asleep. She wakes up every morning to do it all over again, sometimes a little frustrated with the constant deja-vu, but always thankful for another day with these people she loves. Through it all, she carries on. She may wake up exhausted, yet her favorite time of day is always sunrise. Just as the colors in the sky slowly brighten and fade as the sun begins it's ascent across the sky, she feels God telling her that she will make it through another day.
