Can you imagine how much hay this old tractor has moved? How many songs it has played out in the sunshine? Who's hands have gripped the steering wheel? • Whenever I see a little John Deere with a loader bucket, I think of cloudless blue skies and rolling windrows of raked hay. I think of mid-July, hot hay mows and ice cold water. • Mostly these tractors make me think of my family, gathered around, talking about the farm, neighborhood gossip or a movie we happened to catch last night. Tractors are built for one person to sit in, but they really can bring people together. Do you see this happen in your life, something creating unlikely gathering spots?

Went and checked cows with this stud tonight. He even bought me ?! He must really love me! ? If you’re ever around the Farmer and myself you will see that we give each other a hard time and joke around, but you will never see us without a smile on our faces when we’re together. God gave me one of the greatest and I’m a very lucky girl. Now if I could only get him to see my side on green tractors and red cattle ……. the rivalry continues.

We use solar panels to supply power to the fences dividing our paddocks. This weekend the fencer (geeen box that takes power from panel to the fence) was not working. The Farmer and his helpers were working on it in this photo.
