Dust sighting, they’ve been hard to come by for #plant18

We both grew up with dirt under our fingernails. We lived between farm fields and towering forests. We like green and growing things a lot. But, we are not exactly the best at the said growing and nurturing of green things. ?? As much as we love working outside, we also love being inside and cuddling on the couch with takeout. Last year our potatoes didn't grow… and our corn didn't pollinate well… and our lettuce went unharvested… and weeding happened rarely. ??? Over the last two weeks we have been slow to get our garden and yard "working" for the summer. Those 30 inches of snow in April bummed us out… and we didnt start seeds inside this year. But, there are some progressions that have been made! ?? We got over 30 new trees planted. Eli put up fencing round the garden plot and I got both annual and perennial flowers planted. ⚘? That's the thing, a yard, a garden and a farm are things that expand and evolve over time. Just like people. Plans will change, we will skip weeding some nights and bunnies will go for the squash. We're betting on being able to figure it out during our lifetime. We have some big plans, and are tweaking some practices from last year… but spring is here and I can't let go of this amazing growing feeling! Thanks for gardening with me, Eli.
