Cool to have this photo featured on the cover of the Iowa Soybean Review magazine. It’s a cool angle and beautiful capture, but more importantly, it is a conservation-minded farmer planting his soybean crop into a tall rye cover crop. Cover crops act as blankets for fields from harvest to planting. They prevent erosion of topsoil and also hold excess nutrients. They also improve soil health, allowing farmers to plant and grow nourishing crops for generations and generations. You can find out more by searching the Iowa Soybean Review on the web. . . . . .#farm365#agchat#farmtog#farm#thisisIowa#exploreIowa#ia_ag#food#agchat#iowafarmer#iowafarming#IG_IOWA#myfarmphoto#agdaily#jmurphpix#farmlife#farmphotography#ag#highlightiowa#iowagram#farmlife#IAag#IowaAg#iowafarmer#onlyinIowa#renegade_community#farmtog#Iowaviews#iowagram#Iowaofusa#nocoastcollective#Captureiowa#jmurphpix#iowafarmer
