My family doesn't raise red and white Holsteins, so I've had very little interaction with them in my life. They are just as wonderful as black and whites, but I never really appreciated their beauty. Just look at this girl's coppery red fur! I also think they are underappreciated… the black and white Holsteins truly get more love as being the "go to" for all farm-related books, marketing and even preferences on the farm. Let's give these beauts some much-needed love today!

What a weekend…..we had the highest of highs and then the lowest of lows. It was an amazing show and tons of fun and then had to sell Ems 4H project steer in the market sale which ripped her little heart out. I’m so proud of the hard work and dedication she put into this project and we are beyond grateful for all of those who went above and beyond to help. We have the most amazing friends and family that totally saved our butts and had the calves looking their best which helped Emmas heifers win Grand Champion Angus, Reserve Champion Angus, Grand Champion Simmental and her beloved Chunk won Grand Champion Steer at the Central Virginia Livestock Show. I don’t know what we would have done without them!!
