– We eat veggies, whole grains and fruits in this house. ? – We also eat Cheetos, fruit snacks and ice cream. -We grow tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, cukes, watermelon, cantaloupe and a bunch of other stuff I don't eat. – In the winter, we buy produce since we live on a tundra where winter never ends. We also buy canned and frozen products because 'local produce' is not realistic year-round in the Midwest. – We buy food from the farmer's market when we are out and about running errands. – We buy food from Wal-Mart and support farmers and ranchers that sell their products through that avenue. – We eat conventionally grown produce and protein because we know it's no different health or safety-wise. – We support choice in the ag industry because there is room for all of us (but make informed decisions, *please*). – We don't do fad diets. – We do eat, in moderation, a wide variety of foods (including lean protein, veggies, Cheetos, fruit snacks, whole grains and ice cream). – We drink real milk. From cows. Because it's healthy and helps fuel our whole family. – We don't do soy, rice, coconut or almond drinks because real milk is best for us. – We believe in science and support food technologies that embrace sustainability and efficiency. – We don't believe in fear-based marketing and we denounce food companies that do so. Our little cowgirl will know how food is grown and raised long before she gets to her indoor classroom. She will be able to tell her classmates what it's like when a calf is born, how to collect eggs, how to grow veggies and much more. We don't know everything but we know that food education and science experiments start at home, with your kids, in the dirt and grass. Our daughter will thrive in this lifestyle and will appreciate the land and animals that make it possible. We are blessed, and so thankful, to have this lifestyle of sustainable food production. ••• #myksfarmlife #liveauthentic #growyourownfood #farmlife #farmher #momlifebelike #gardening #toddlerlife #adventuring #capture_today

Tutorial Tuesday – Your Unique Style How to keep this topic concise? Let’s just get right to the point, that's part of my style. . Your style is influenced by many factors, and I'd dare to say not just one photographer or artist. Here's an example, my perspectives and composition are largely influenced by conflict photographers of the past. Think Robert Capa here. Their ability and aplomb taking perspectives and conveying a sense of humanity within what's considered, hell. . This influence would be lost on me until much later in life though. However, this is only one aspect, there are additional influences in editing, posing, lighting, even being a steward of photography. This all builds into your style. . The way I use my wide angle lens is unique to me, I want an "in your face" perspective providing an impact that stops you and keeps you looking for a moment. Am I the only photographer who has used it like this, hell no! What's unique is your creativity and ability while using it, that's your unique style! . ?ISO200, f18, 1/200s @ 16mm ?Canon 5D3 Lens – 16-35mm f2.8L #ranch #ranchlife #ranching #western #americanwest #westernphotography #westernhorseman #workingranchmagazine #americancowboy #utah #utahphotographer #aqha #aqhaproud #cowboy #horse #cowboyhat #photography #photography101 #canon #canonusa #teamcanon #canonbringit #agdaily #style #influence #branding #brandingday #robertcapa
