This kid, he’s awesome. He wants to be a contractor and a farmer, and work in sales where daddy works ?. He also loves his chickens, and can’t wait for them to start laying so that he can start his “Cader-Eggers” blue egg business. I love his God-given hard-working nature, and love that we can help nurture it through the animals ❤️

For those of you who don’t know I got married on Saturday! I spent Sunday recovering and Monday with my husband cutting beans! I am now excited to be having some shoots coming up and can’t wait to get back behind the camera. Spring time is busy on every farm but for us it's not planting – we're getting ready to harvest our first crop. Our strawberries start ripening for picking in the first two weeks of May and will continue through early June. We sell the majority of our berries on the farm to customers who come to pick their own. What isn't sold "in the field" is either wholesaled at our local produce auction or frozen for jam.
