This empty dairy barn shows signs of life from years ago. The wooden barnyard fence is collapsing into the ground, giving way to gravity. Unpainted barn boards now serve as a trellis for vines to climb and grow out of control all the way to the roof peak. These same vines also obstruct the barn entrance where the cows marched in and out for their daily milking routine. The milk house still stands solid alongside its barn companion. I can picture the milk truck arriving in the late morning to pump the precious liquid from the milk house bulk tank into the belly of the semi tanker. I would've loved to peek inside, but out of respect for a farmer's domain, l will not trespass for the sake of more photos. I'd be curious to know if the barn is tie stall? Or stanchion? What brand of milking system? What breed of cows did they own? All unanswered questions as l come upon another dairy farm that's become a statistic in our agricultural landscape. : : : #ag365 #agdaily #farmsnaps #discoverwisconson #bpa_rural #barns #be_one_rural #barnsofinstagram #countryroads #mcl_rural #midwestliving #midwestmoment #wisconsinbarns #wisconsinfarms #wisconsinrural #ig_america_rural #ig_ruralamerica #ig_countryside #hdr_country #rurallife #roamwisconsin #ruralwisconsin #rural_love #country_features #raw_country #ig_rural #total_rural #farm365 #barnlove #barnobsessed
