We’ve recently weaned calves on my family farm. When they’re weaned, they get the good stuff. ? It’s a ration that dad has used for YEARS, because it works. It has a little bit of molasses in it to make it sweet, and it’s one of my favorite smells around the farm. ? “Yum, I LOVE the way that feed smells!” – me ? “You can take a taste of it if you want…” – my dad ?? This tiny little human, who isn't quite as tiny anymore, will be five soon. FIVE?! And she's been farming since the beginning. From the crappy little swing I put in my tiny little corner of the barn, the corner I called my "milking parlor," to being able to fully hook up a goat on our Grade A Pipeline. We've come a long way baby. And we're not stopping yet. I can't believe I get to be your Mama and I can't believe you get to grow up on this bit of Earth we call home.
