Our farm has a problem. It's called "docile cows". Now you might think that docile cows are a good thing and it really is. But our cows have crossed the line in the docile department and just flat think they are dogs or something. For example, one minute you are standing there talking to someone and you feel something on your leg. You ignore it, then that something is touching your hand. At this point in time you better just turn around and acknowledge her or she will make you acknowledge her. And let's just say that 1000 lb. or larger animal's way of making you acknowledge her is no fun. So you give her a scratch and continue talking. But that is simply not enough. So you start scratching while talking and that is STILL not enough. Finally you just forget the human you are having a conversation with and find yourself hugging a cow. And when she is done with you, she will walk away and you can then (and ONLY then) continue your conversation. I guess we are not as mean to them as folks would like you to think. ???
