It's my birthday! ? 27-years-old and I woke up at 5 a.m. waiting for my parents to call me…last year I missed the call because I was still sleeping. In my family, we do this thing where we sing "Happy Birthday" over the phone if we are not together. I refused to miss the call, because my brother was on the line with Mom and Dad too! They called at 5:30 a.m., and it always brings me so much joy to know we will do this for the rest of our lives and with my future children and hopefully for many generations of our family. This was a thing my Mom's parents have always done for their friends and family, and it just stuck. My Aunt and Uncle also called to sing this morning before I left for work! Fam, you are the best. Thanks for taking the time to share your love. . . As I was feeling pretty good this morning, I tapped out a little blog featuring 27 farm photos I took over the last year!
