Hard losses can really knock you back. Like most people we can't afford to be losing a bull that was as good as sold or a brand new baby bull with spectacular genetics. But there's no way we'd survive this lifestyle without a good healthy dose of optimism that everything is going to be alright. Farmers and ranchers are the most resilient people I know. There is no choice but to keep moving forward and adjusting constantly to the things life throws at us. I told GW I wanted to go see if my cows had had their babies yet, so we were all excited to see this little heifer. Grateful for what we do have….it's a new day and we will keep pushing forward. #ranchlife #farmlife #rockstarletteoutdoors #luckybrownhat #rogrrrls

In the dark and in the day, we still have to feed them hay. Snow, rain, sleet or shine, we feed them before we dine. I can’t tell you why or how, but we love our dang ol cows. From longhorns to angus, it’s just how God made us. Grazing on them from hilltop high, we live for a cow until we die. || Brant Ludwig • • Want to see more photos⁉️ ⚫️Facebook Page: Kady Lockmon Photography⚫️ ⚫️SmugMug: Link in my Bio⚫️ • • #country_living #countrylifestyle #rural_living #rural #photography #animals #countrylivin #farmhousestyle #countrystylemag #countrystyle #farmhouseliving #livestock #cow #bull #angus #cattle #heifer #calf #steer #nebraska #thegoodlife #agriculture #agriculturephotography #nebraska #visitnebraska #NEphotonetwork #livestock #livestockphotography #midwest #countrylife #agdaily #cowboy_features
