Taking my girls on an afternoon walk to see the girls. Sorry @clareptolemy I might have a little extra leave-in conditioner in my hair tomorrow during my appointment? This beautiful lady just thought I needed a couple cow kisses. – These girls are some of our milking cows. Our dairy is an open lot where the cows can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. When they aren't in the corral, they are in the milking barn. Our cows are milked twice a day and each milking takes only about 10 minutes. Before being milked the cows get a "shower" in the barn to clean their udders.

For generations in fact. And every 10 years we lose 1/2 of our total dairy farms. A Polish Proverb says: “If the farmer is poor so is the whole country.” As the industry decreases and families lose their cows who are loved, cared for and appreciated like their own children, the advocates for the industry decreases as well.
