As most students have been stuck at home due to COVID-19, it is important to fill their time with fun, educational items. For the past six weeks, American Dairy Association North East has highlighted different dairy farmers with a weekly educational video series. For the seventh week we meet Farmer Kelsey from Mapleview Dairy in Madrid, New York. Farmer Kelsey has a fun-filled week for us full of dance ‘mooves’ and mini-lessons on how she uses technology on her dairy farm.
The series can be viewed every day this week, Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. ET on the American Dairy Association North East Facebook page. This week’s videos along with more information can be found on the American Dairy Association North East website.
Day 1 — GPS
Join Farmer Kelsey and learn how the technology you use to navigate on the road also helps farmers in the fields!
Day 2 — Milk Truck
A refrigerator on wheels? Farmer Kelsey gives us on the scoop on how milk trucks keep milk cool and shows us another awesome dance ‘moove’.
