Over the weekend, a Scottish farmer got “a hell of a scare” when he went to check on his 200 pregnant cows and found a tiger in the barn. Bruce Grubb, 24, called in armed officers, who held an hour-long standoff with the cat, trying to figure out the best way to approach it. Authorities even called the Highland Wildlife Park 100 miles away to see if one of its two tigers was missing.
But after some time, the farmer became suspicious when the tiger didn’t seem to be moving. He jumped in the truck and drove right up to it … and that’s when he discovered the tiger was just a toy.
The officers were in good spirits following the ordeal and even asked to keep the toy as a mascot. Grubb said he has no idea who pulled the prank.
