NCBA searches for next National Anthem singing star

Calling all cattle kids with a set of pipes — this may be your time to shine! The fifth annual National Cattlemen’s Beef Association National Anthem Singing Contest is now open and looking for their next star.

The National Anthem Singing Contest is open to those who are 20 years of age or younger and are a member or related to an NCBA, ANCW, or CBB member. The contest winner will kick off the 2018 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show in Phoenix, Arizona  by singing the Star-Spangled Banner at the Opening General Session and the Thursday Night Event.

Entries are being accepted now through October 23, 2017.

The winner will receive roundtrip airfare for two to Phoenix, one hotel room for four nights, and free registration for two to the 2018 convention.

The top four finalists will be chosen by Nov. 3 and posted to www.beefusa.org. Voting will be opened up to the public Nov. 6- Dec. 4 (one vote per day, per person) and the winner will be announced on Dec. 5.
