4-H inspiring kids with its 30 Days of Doing initiative

Published:

This month, 4-H is motivating children across the nation to do with purpose through the hands-on learning of its 30 Days of Doing initiative. Through activities in agriculture, STEM, community service, healthy living, and more, 30 Days of Doing is intended to help kids gain the skills they need to be successful in life — and have fun along the way.

Plus, there is an opportunity to win scholarship money ($10,000!) for a child — as well as win another $10,000 for your state’s 4-H program.

Submit a photo via this web page that shows how your child inspires themselves or others to do with purpose for themselves, their family, their community, their country, or the world. The hashtag for the campaign is #30DaysofDoing.

The sooner you enter, the sooner you can receive an “Inspire to Do” list with 30 fun, hands-on activities to do with kids. Those activities include such things as picking wildflowers, making fizzy foam in a bottle, planting herbs, or building a bird house. After the contest closes, those who enter will also receive a comprehensive 4-H “Inspire to Do” activity guide to help further engagement with your youngster.
