Someone is stealing pigs in Sioux County, Iowa. This week the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a theft of 35 White Large Landrace breed pigs from a farm seven miles northwest of Rock Valley, Iowa. Each pig weighed approximately 250 to 280 pounds. The theft is believed to have taken place between May and August.

This incident follows on the heels of another investigation last week. On August 17, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at a hog building four miles southwest of Inwood, Iowa where 30 pigs had been stolen. That theft was believed to have taken place between August 3 and August 17.
