Christmas tree farmer helps military family celebrate early

Published:

A Washington state Christmas tree farmer has helped a military family celebrate the holiday in November since their dad won’t be home this Christmas.

According to owner Jim Dietz’s post on Facebook, the family called to ask if they could select a tree since Dad is in the Military and won’t be able to spend Christmas at home. While Dietz normally starts selling Christmas trees the day after Thanksgiving, he naturally said yes and gave the family a military discount.

Dietz said, “They didn’t take long to find the perfect Con Color Fir. I told them there is a good chance it may stay fresh through the holidays if they water every day. They had fun and got to be my first customers this season. Merry Christmas early to this Family and thank you Sir for your service and sacrifices to our country!”
