Driver hospitalized after driving under farm equipment

Published:

Lesson learned for this Indiana driver — if you take on a piece of farm equipment on the road, you’re probably not going to win. A Johnson County, Indiana, driver was hospitalized when he drove under an applicator on U.S. 31 on Monday.

According to the Indianapolis Star, the farmer told police he was driving in the right lane at 35 mph when the car went directly under the farm equipment and out the other side before stopping in the middle of the road.

Investigators are still not certain the driver meant to go under the equipment.
