Thursday, February 8 will be your chance to be a Farm Rescuer by supporting Farm Rescue during the 24-hour online fundraiser, Giving Hearts Day.
Over the past year there have been strong developments with Farm Rescue. The group has had the honor of assisting their 500th family while carrying out Operation Hay Lift, in hauling hay to drought-stricken regions. Through Operation Hay Lift, as well as volunteer-based planting, haying, and harvesting, Farm Rescue was able to assist twice as many (125) farm and ranch families in 2017 than in any previous year.
A Giving Hearts Day contribution on Thursday will have a positive impact on the compassionate and patriotic mission of Farm Rescue. A charitable donation of $10 or more will be maximized thanks to matching funds provided by generous donors. Only gifts entered through the Giving Hearts Day website between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. CST on February 8 will qualify for the match funds.
