If you want to get to the bottom of it, bribe ’em with bacon. After two major thefts at his free-range farm, this Nova Scotia farmer is hoping his five-pound bacon reward will bring some answers.
In the most recent theft at Moo Nay Farms, Melvin Burns lost a Dewalt 8 volt driver and charger, a 20 volt driver, a grinder, two 20 volt chargers, and a 20 volt drill, as well as a Mastercraft and a Pittsburg socket set.
Before that, six Berkshire pigs and 40 chickens were stolen. Burns also discovered the remains of a butchered pig on a plastic sheet at the edge of his 60-acre farm
Burns took to Facebook last week with this plea for more information, an offer to help out the individual(s) responsible, and a five-pound bacon reward.
