Michigan farmer dies in cherry picker accident

A Benton Harbor, Michigan farmer has died after getting pinned between a cherry picker and the barn wall. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fatal farm accident around 5:44 p.m. Saturday.  Roger Molter, 69, was parking a cherry picker in the barn for winter, and while repositioning the equipment he ended up pinning himself between the cherry picker and the the wall, causing his death.

Molter was discovered in the barn by a family member, and emergency medical services were called. Molter was pronounced dead at the scene.
