Monsanto BioAg products now branded as Acceleron BioAg

Published:

Monsanto BioAg products will now be offered under the newly formed Acceleron BioAg brand, as part of a larger seed treatment portfolio rebranding effort with Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions products. With this transition, the Acceleron BioAg and Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions brands will now make up an overarching Acceleron portfolio, offering a comprehensive package of synthetic chemistry and biological seed treatment products.

Customers can still purchase, sell and/or apply QuickRoots, Optimize XC, TagTeam LCO XC, and other Monsanto BioAg technologies; however, they will now be offered under the Acceleron BioAg brand for better alignment within the portfolio. Product formulations, quality control, and customer service will not be affected by this transition.

“Last year, we started selling Monsanto BioAg and Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions products by a unified Acceleron brand sales team to create an easier sales process for our customers. As the next step in the natural progression of these two brands, we are bringing all of these products together under the Acceleron portfolio. This branding change will help us communicate a simpler, cohesive message and allow us to better serve our partners and customers. Growers already use fungicides, insecticides, nematicides, and biological products together to help protect against unpredictable threats in their fields. But, there has never been one simple, comprehensive solution available in the industry. By offering all of these products under a united Acceleron portfolio, we are helping growers address the challenges they face with products designed to complement one another,” said A.J. Hohmann, U.S. Seed Applied Solutions Marketing Manager.

Earlier this week Bayer announced with its acquisition of Monsanto, the company name would no longer be used. The acquired products will retain their brand names and become part of the Bayer portfolio.
