Morton, Caterpillar ‘Giving Away the Farm’ sweeps now open

Published:

Morton Buildings and Caterpillar have collaborated to deliver the largest prize package in the history of Morton Buildings’ annual “Giving Away the Farm” sweepstakes. This year’s prize package is valued at over $120,000, which includes a Morton building and a 2018 Cat 249D Compact Track Loader with three attachments.

“Giving Away the Farm” sweepstakes begins on July 10, 2018 and will conclude on October 18, 2018. Previous winners of the “Giving Away the Farm” sweepstakes have constructed farm, equestrian, commercial, and residential facilities across Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, and New York.

The Caterpillar prize component is awarded as a Cat 249D Compact Track Loader with cab heat and air, advanced display, hydraulic quick coupler, and bar tread track. Its standard, suspended undercarriage system provides superior traction, flotation, stability, and speed to work in a wide range of applications and underfoot conditions. Its vertical lift design delivers extended reach and lift height for quick and easy truck loading. The three attachments included in the prize package are 48” fork tines and carriage, 74″ multi-purpose bucket, and 72″ grapple rake.

The Morton building prize is awarded as a $50,000 credit towards the construction of a Morton Buildings building of winner’s choice. There is no purchase or payment necessary to win. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. who are 21 years of age or older who own land within the Morton Buildings service area. To enter the sweepstakes online between July 10 and October 18, 2018, as well as view official rules and prize details, visit www.mortonbuildings.com/sweepstakes or register to win in-person at participating trade shows.

“We’re excited to collaborate again with Caterpillar to deliver an unbelievable and record-breaking prize package,” said Brian Haraf, Director of Marketing, Morton Buildings. “The farm community relies on Cat products to improve productivity and efficiency of its daily operations. Both companies share a tradition of superior quality and this collaboration showcases our dedication to the ag industry.”
