Oklahoma county on the lookout for a tractor thief

An Oklahoma county is on alert after three tractors have been stolen in the past two weeks. According to KSWO News, the latest was a 2006 Case IH DX55 model that a former dealer acquired at the end of his tenure with the company. The keys were not inside the tractor and the battery wasn’t working, so the owner believes the thieves may have hot wired the tractor and loaded it onto a trailer.

According to the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office, the other two tractors stolen were from a resident’s home in Cache. One is a Ford 800 tractor, and the other one a John Deere 4010.

On Monday the Comanche County Sheriff’s office posted a warning on Facebook to residents:
