The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee is now accepting applications for their annual $1,000 scholarships for nine high school seniors and one Collegiate Farm Bureau member pursuing an agriculture degree.

Scholarships will be awarded to one high school student in every OKFB district and one college or university student with an active Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an agriculture program at an accredited Oklahoma college, or university, or technical school.

Students will need to include transcripts, a resume including any activities or honors received, an essay on how the scholarship will help them in their educational goals, and a character reference letter.

Applications must be postmarked by Feb. 24. Both the Young Farmers and Ranchers high school scholarship application and the Collegiate Farm Bureau scholarship application can be found on the form here. More information on application requirements are within the application.
