Seven cows missing from NY farm, including $30k show cow

New York authorities are investigating a report of seven stolen cows, including a $30,000 show cow named “Roxy,” from a farm in the Town of Argyle.

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Sweet Road on Sunday where a farmer, who leases the property and farm area to house his own animals as well as allow other animals to be housed, noticed multiple cows missing.

After further inspection, a total of seven cows were noted as missing. One of the cows missing is described as a show cow named “Roxy” and reportedly worth $30,000. The cows consist of different breeds including Holstein, Guernsey, and Jersey.
