Tulsa firefighters finish Thanksgiving shift, find tractor stolen

Published:

It looks like the Grinch may have already started stealing some goodies in Oklahoma. Two Tulsa firefighting brothers finished up their shift on Thanksgiving and returned home only to find their $40,000 tractor stolen.

The brothers, who only owned the John Deere for less than 36 hours, said they had it parked on land they lease in Okmulgee Wednesday evening. When they got off work Friday morning, there were only tire marks left.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, and the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office have all been notified and are working with the brothers to help find the stolen tractor.
