The nation’s largest beef packing plants are being sued by industry giant Sysco Foods – accusing the companies of suppressing cattle numbers to inflate beef prices. The federal lawsuit was filed in Texas, naming Tyson Foods, JBS, Cargill, and National Beef

On Sunday, JBS USA — one of the largest meat processors in the world — was the target of an organized cybersecurity attack.
Tuesday evening President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that ordered meat processing plants to remain open, declaring them critical infrastructure.
JBS USA announced the indefinite closure of the Worthington, Minnesota, pork production facility that processes 20,000 hogs per day.
