American LandMaster invests in northern Indiana

UTV and power sport vehicle manufacturer American LandMaster is getting a new home. The company will hold a ribbon cutting for their new corporate headquarters on November 29. The facility, located in Columbia City, Indiana, comprises manufacturing and administrative operations, as well as a consumer-facing retail showroom.

The new facility represented a consolidation for American LandMaster, and brought more than 50 production jobs to the area that had been in Louisiana. In addition to being one of the newest employers in the area, the facility also has a retail showroom offering consumers the opportunity to purchase UTVs factory direct.

The company has invested more than $4 million to lease and equip the 112,000-square-foot space located less than 15 miles from the company’s manufacturing operations in Fort Wayne.

“For over 50 years, American LandMaster has been proud to manufacture UTVs and Off-Road vehicles that are truly made in the U.S.,” said Pat Morello, chief executive officer of American LandMaster. “We’re thrilled to continue this American-made tradition by investing in northern Indiana. Not only will the new facility create jobs, it will also position American LandMaster to continue our growth through enhanced quality, faster innovation, and customer service.”

Founded in 1959, American LandMaster has built and distributed more than one million American-made utility vehicles. The company, which established its first Indiana operations in 2012, offers its customers full size, crew, electric, and fun karts to meet the needs for work or play.
